Nothing special, just wanted to keep the focus on the work, but starting from scratch and trying to wad through everything I’ve done in the past 2 years at the big Y took a little longer than expected. Fixie peeps riding with lance in his hometown, austin TX. Pretty awesome to see one of cycling’s biggest stars kicking back with a bunch of underground yahoos, check out Lance’s acceleration towards the end of the group ride, too easy. Gotta love his fat pad and all seven yellow jerseys hanging on the adjacent walls, sweet.

Selling off my 2004 Ironhorse SGS-DH World cup bike. This bike has had very few miles, couple of cosmetic scratches, front fork needs to be re-serviced, but all in all, its in great working order. Why am I selling it? For one, there aren’t many downhill worthy trails near where I live that actually warrant a downhill specific bike, and secondly, I could use the extra garage space. I’m letting it go for $800, pass the word around.

Apple unveiled their redesigned line of Macbooks this morning with some pretty sweet Final Cut Pro still images of the World Cup Syndicate mountain bike race team. I wonder if this will influence mac geeks everywhere to pick up a bike and start shredding their local dirt parks. I’m just happy the sport is getting exposure, even if its from left-field.
