My lady and I swung by the local Ralphs for the nephew’s milk and came across these little fellas in the pet section. Our first thought was that they were chew toys for big dogs, bummed me out, I think it would have been pretty cool to see Marvin welcome us with a beaver hanging from his tiny face, turns out these are puppets, I still wanted to buy, Debbie said No, end of story. Definitely looks like shes enjoying this a bit more than me, her puppet actually looks scared, HA!

My nephew came over the weekend and proceeded to wreak havoc in the kitchen. At the moment hes learning how to smile, this is his first attempt at my request.

Okay gotta apologize in advance for this huge gapping update from Stage 11 to the 21st and last stage of the TDF. Truth be told, I’m quite embarrassed, you see, as an avid cyclist, I feel its my duty to report to the good people on the largest cycling event on the planet, most importantly to finish what I started. Unfortunately, cycling’s ugly past reared its head once more in the form of dopers and cheats, I ABSOLUTELY despise these so called ‘professionals’ who irresponsibly continue to bite the hand that feeds them, not only are they hurting themselves physically but endangering his peer’s careers. I-R-R-E-S-P-O-N-S-I-B-L-E. Anyways, between stage 11 and 21 there were a string of dopers that were caught and quite frankly, I was sick of it and completely lost my appetite on reporting to you good folkds. Like I said, I’m here to finish what I started, I’m here to put the last nail in the coffin…and the winner is…NOT Cadel Evans (2nd), *sigh, theres always next year bud, with a stronger team and better luck, you’ll get it. I’m distraught though, Carlos Sastre does NOT look right in the maillot juane.

Caught the opening of ‘The Dark Knight’ and have to admit that the summer blockbuster lived up to the hype, in my opinion, it was largely due to the performance of the late Heath Ledger. Talk about stepping in Jack’s shoes and ten upping his rendition of the 1989 ‘Joker’, Ledger’s performance is the toast of the town and he deserves the credit, god rest his soul. The movie was great though, lots of original twists that you won’t expect, it was as real as ‘hero’ movie could get while keeping the franchise traditional alive with sweet sweet bat gadgets! After the flick a few of us grabbed a burrito across the street and ran into some fellow movie watchers whom showed their true devotion by dressing up as their favorite characters. Joker was pretty tight, Batboy was a lil weak come on dude where’s the spandex?! Great movie, go watch it if you can get tickets…

Stage 11 sees the first full day Cadel Evans enjoying his hard earned yellow jersey. Cadel retained his 1 second lead over Frank Schleck, the stage was won by CSC’s Kurt-Asle Arvesen.
