Downtown Laguna Beach is thee scene that always hits the right spot for me. Not only is it home to my favorite eatery ever called La Serena Grill, it was also home to my two year stint as a bike shop mechanic during my 4 years at UCI. As far away Laguna is from Los Angeles, I try to make the trip out there as much as I can, most of the time I’m by myself but sometimes when I’m lucky my buds accompany me for the short sweet trip. The past weekend, I visited twice, mainly for the food but especially because of these darn good homemade butterscotch coconut cookies that my joint started to sell. I know this sounds like a dumb reason to commute for an hour and half but please do not pass judgement until you have tried the cookies for yourself…seriously. Anyways, gotta give a shout out to my peeps in the photo; Rich, Jong, John, Eric, Jimmy, and Kiyoung, thanks for letting me indulge in nostalgia overload, one of the sweetest weekends for sure.
