“The visual image is a kind of tripwire for the emotions”

So after graduating nearly 3 years ago with a BA in criminology, one thing is certain, I am still loving everything that is design. The quote stated is from Diane Ackerman, an american author, poet, and naturalist known best for her work ‘A Natural History of Senses’. This book, this quote, was indeed a tripwire for me, I knew I loved design, it was one of the few things in life that turned off my inundating snooze button most college students got by on. I’m incredibly fortunate to be making a living doing something I’m passionate about, a job where my work can act as a “…tripwire for emotions”, is both, motivating and inspiring. This quote is the catalyst and inception for this blog which will be dedicated to everything design and anything remotely interesting. Ultimately, I hope to inspire you in some way or form, and I hope that this blog can be to you what Ms. Ackerman’s book was to me. I leave you with phunk studio’s ‘Universality’.
